Objective overview
Capture camps require holding a zone while sub-waves spawn. Not a DPS race — stability first. Detailed tactics: capture enemy camp guide.
Campaign stars often gate later chapters behind camp clears. Failing repeatedly usually means tower levels or control heroes are under-leveled, not that you need a new carry.
Recommended loadout
Mir control, Eric defense, Cole carry is a common trio. EMP towers at home base while you hold the camp circle.
Team templates: best team page. Skill picks should favor freeze and stun over boss burst during the hold itself.
Step-by-step walkthrough
Day one of the attempt: max economy if the stage allows, then upgrade the lane that leaked in your last failure. Day two: add EMP or second Machine Gun before moving to the camp marker. Start the hold only when a practice night completes with at least thirty percent base HP remaining.
During the hold, watch sub-wave arrows — they indicate side leaks. Abandon aggressive kiting unless mechanics require pulling elites away. Return to the circle before the timer ticks down.
If the mission fails while the base still stands, your hold radius was broken. If the base falls, retreat and upgrade home defenses before retrying the camp.
After clearing
Claim chapter rewards and continue the beginner route or main campaign overview. Harder camps in later chapters reuse the same control-first pattern with higher tower level requirements.
